Hotel Regente

Nowadays

Regarded as of today as a traditional hotel, spearhead in the hotel industry, it is worthwhile mentioning the amplitude of its rooms, something that is very rare in today's hotel industry.

The Hotel

Founded in the heart of the country and located between two of the most important avenues in Mexico City : Reforma and Insurgentes, in a strategic, cultural and financial area.

Inaugurated in 1943 by General José Ortiz Ávila, founder and owner, who was governor of the state of Quintana Roo and who would later run for the regency of Mexico City . This is why as of 1950, the hotel changed its name to HOTEL REGENTE. Its original name was Hotel Saint Moritz. The hotel offered the entrepreneurial and tourist sectors a great alternative with its modern, elegant and comfortable rooms, which spearheaded the hotel industry back then. Its 90 rooms were further sub-divided into single rooms, doubles, king-size and 10 suites.
